Ethics Applied to Social Services




The development of ethics in social service delivery seeks to ensure effective enforcement of people’s rights and promote democratic values together with ethics in civil society and positive attitudes. Practitioners and institutions running social services need to work to secure people’s dignity, their wellbeing and respect for their independence and privacy. 


The Catalan Social Services Ethics Committee plays an advisory role in decision-making for people and institutions involved in social services while also generating knowledge and good practices. Contact:
